This memorial website was created in the memory of little Melissa Carlie Adams who was born in Syracuse, New York on June 15, 2005 and passed away on June 16, 2005 . She was a special gift from God who was taken away much too soon. The short time we had her we will cherish forever. God-please watch over our precious little baby girl.

Our Mom Is A Survivor 

Our Mom is a survivor,
or so we've heard it said.
But we can hear her crying at night
when all others are in bed.

We watch her lay awake at night
and go to hold her hand.
She doesn't know we're with her
to help her understand.

But like the sands on the beach
that never wash away... 
We watch over our surviving mom,
who thinks of us each day.

She wears a smile for others...
a smile of disguise!
But through Heaven's door we see
tears flowing from her eyes. 

Our mom tries to cope with death
to keep our memory alive.
But anyone who knows her knows
it is her way to survive.

As we watch over our surviving mom
through Heaven's open door... 
We try to tell her that angels
protect us forevermore. 

We know that doesn't help her...
or ease the burden she bears.
So if you get a chance, go visit her...
and show her that you care.

For no matter what she says...
no matter what she feels. 
Our surviving mom has a broken heart
that time won't ever heal.

Angel babies,
In Heaven above,
In God‘s care,
Wrapped in our love.

The meaning of her name..

Melissa Carlie Adams

Melissa means-
`Honey-Bee and Pure'

The name Carlie comes from Melissa's Great-Great Uncle Carl who we called Charlie.

Carl means -`Strong One'
and Carlie means - `Strong Little One'

"For you created my inmost being:  you knit me together in my mother's womb.  
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made:
your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
My frame was not hidden from you when I was made
in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me were written in your
book before one of them came to be."

Although Scott and Lisa will not see Melissa in this life, they will be reunited with her in heaven
